Being a responsible landlord is a lot of work, admits council chief

Landlords, investors and letting agents are invited to join the Sevenoaks District Landlords’ Forum.

The free event takes place from 5.30pm to 8pm on Tuesday November 11 in The Plaza at The Stag, Sevenoaks.

Landlords can hear updates from Perrys Accountants, the National Residential Landlords Association and find out the support available from the council through the Sevenoaks Landlords’ Hub and HERO service.

Stalls will provide information on topics such as accountancy, mortgages, damp and mould and signing up suitable tenants.

The Council’s Member for Housing, Perry Cole, says: “We want to work closely with landlords to encourage and develop private sector housing in the District.

“We recognise that being a responsible landlord involves a tremendous amount of work, so we want to make sure they know about all the help and support available.

“This event will be a great opportunity to meet other landlords from the local area and get the most up to date information.”
